A working reference point since 1867

Ona Lighthouse stands on the island of Ona, west of Molde. In continuous operation for more than 150 years, the red cast-iron lighthouse is among the oldest of its kind in Norway.

First lit in 1867, the original Fresnel lens remains intact and in use. With a range of 17.8 nautical miles, the lighthouse provides a reliable reference point for navigating the rich but demanding waters along the coast.

Ona Lighthouse retains its original authenticity and holds significant cultural and historical value. The lighthouse station is also a protected bird conservation area under the Norwegian Nature Conservation Act.

The 500-year continuous settlement on Ona stands as a testament to the fact that risk and opportunity are inseparable. Conditions that facilitate the creation of value also demand knowledge, competence, and the right mindset to succeed.

Just as Ona Lighthouse serves as a dependable point of orientation at the edge of the Norwegian coastline, Ona Consulting seeks to be a dependable partner in environments where clarity and overview are critical.

We base our work on three foundational principles:

Guidance, clarity, and direction.
