First light
Ona Consulting AS was established in 2025. We signed our first contract the same year, with Systemair - an international HVAC manufacturer.
We provide sustainable and energy-efficient HVAC solutions, with a strong focus on achieving good indoor environments and healthy buildings. In the drive for improved sustainability across the construction sector, some fundamentals should remain intact.

In increasingly complex conditions, we support organisations navigating technical, regulatory, and strategic challenges. When uncertainty is high, we help establish an overview, maintain perspective, and focus on what matters most.

Central Approval
Ona Consulting holds Central Approval from the Norwegian Directorate for Building Quality (DiBK), in the highest approval class within our scope.

Who you will work with
Ona Consulting is led by Amund Ona Gjul (M.Sc.), with experience spanning both consulting and manufacturing. His work covers HVAC conceptual and detailed design, energy optimisation of buildings, product development, sustainability strategy, and regulatory frameworks, supporting organisations with both technical and commercial decisions.

Ona Consulting collaborates with leading experts in construction-sector sustainability and European standardisation. This includes Associate Expert Advisor Ari Ilomaki, supporting building-level LCA methodology and its practical application in the European construction sector.

Chairman, CEN/TC 350 Sustainability of construction works (2005–2020)

Convenor of CEN/TC 350 WG 1 (EN 15978), defining building-level LCA methodology and calculation rules

Convenor, CEN/TC 135 WG 17, finalising c-PCR for steel and aluminium construction products

Contributor to the revision of ISO 14067 (Carbon footprint of products), supporting globally coherent LCA-based rules

​Ari is involved when building-level LCA expertise strengthens the assignment.
